Sony has a really cool idea how to make advertisment for their new MP3 Player! In Shibuya, one of the lifeliest places in Tokyo, they have in one of the builidings directly next to the station, thwo girls and 1 guy dancing in huge window up in the 4th of 5th floor. By night it looks really amazing, kind of a small disco room, everybody on his/her own. And hell, they are good dancers! I couldn`t believe that they do that 50 hours, so I went the next morning before going to work there, to have a look what`s going on, and really: they were still dancing! hehe, crazy!!
Bourgelais Nouveau@Cafe Uno
Japanese people seem to be quite crazy after new french wine. Therefore there are many wine parties these days to celebrate the "Bourgelais Nouveau". A friend, Kanako, is working in a nice Cafe and invited me for the evening to a wine party. Unluckily it was Friday, so I had my casual clothes in work on, when I arrived there, I felt, well, kinda underdressed... shit happens.. :)
Ca. 50 (japanese only) people, a nice band a really good food, wow! The owner made at the beginning a speech, explaining the new wine (at least I guess that he did that --> japanese) and suddenly he said my name. I don`t know who, but somebody must have told him about my birthday (u have any idea Kanako??!), so they surprised me with a decilious birthday cake and I was allowed to open the wine cask!
After the party I went to Kanako`s house to have another kind of appointment.. with her cute dog :)
Really nice evening, thank you Kanako!

Mix Life@Kichijoji
Before I went to the Swedish Style Party @ Velours there was some time to go to a life house. Mix invited me for her gig in Kichijoji, a really nice area in Tokyo.
Some guys from the ARD Studios Tokyo, a friend of Mix (Tomoko, a pianist, see her blog at http://blog.livedoor.jp/tomocommunicators/) and her boyfriend joined for this evening. Mix had the first part, and again, wow: great sound, great voice! Saldy I had not my Digi Cam with me, but at least I could take a picture with my mobile camera.
Some other bands played, we drank cocktails, some more bands played, we drank some more cocktails.
Later a comedy band made a show, and wow, that was sooo fun. Even if it was really difficult for me to understand the japanese, it was amazing! Cool guys, dressed like in a bad movie from the 50ths.. hehe
At the end we all together were performing to the good old classic VMCA ... yeah :)

Sweden Style@Velours
waaah, was ein Abend!

Birthday bash
6th of November, first time for me to celebrate my birthday away from home, away from my family and friends. I must confess, I was absolutely NOT looking forward to this day.. Greg the Greek, Igor the Insane, Roman the romantic and Hiro the heroic joined me for having plenty of beer in an nice Izakaya:
Soccer
yeah, lucky me.. went to lunch with a chick from my company and she was so happy to have lunch to me that she gave me 4 cards for the Final of the Cup game between Osaka (second biggest city in Japan) and Chiba (part of Tokyo). Because the cards are full of this absolut unreadable I thought it was baseball, so I called some friends to join the "baseball" hehe.. actually the ball was a bit bigger than the offical size standard :) it was a perfect day, the best sunny weather you could imagine, we had big size beer (I almost felt back in Germany) and a view over the city, you couldn`t imagine. Oh, actually you can, have a look on the pictures below!
